The OnePlus Watch 4, which appeared in Google Play Console records in recent days, has officially come to light with all its technical details upon being listed on the brand’s official website. This next-generation smartwatch, which is a rebranded and globally adapted version of the Oppo Watch X3 introduced in the Chinese market, makes a highly assertive entry into the wearable technology world with its premium titanium material, dual-processor structure, and the most up-to-date Wear OS 6 operating system.

Titanium Elegance of the OnePlus Watch 4

Unlike the stainless steel case in the previous generation, the OnePlus Watch 4 comes with a completely titanium case. This change has provided the watch with both a lighter (43 grams without the strap) and a more durable structure. The device, which has a MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, literally defies harsh conditions with wet-hand touch screen control, full corrosion resistance against seawater, and 5ATM, IP68, IP69 protection ratings against dust/water. The watch will appear before users with two different aesthetic options: “Evergreen Titanium” with a silver case/green strap and “Midnight Titanium” with darker tones.

Dual Processor, Sapphire Glass, and 3,000 Nits Brightness

On the front face of the device, there is a 1.43-inch LTPO OLED screen covered with sapphire crystal glass that provides extra protection against scratches. This screen, with a resolution of 466×466, can reach exactly 3,000 nits of peak brightness offering flawless visibility even under the sun.

On the performance side, while the smartwatch uses the Snapdragon Wear W5 chipset for demanding tasks, it gets support from the low-power consumption BES2800 chip for basic functions and battery saving. The system is supported by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

Sensor Richness, Charging Speed, and Wear OS 6 Experience

The device, which comes out of the box with Wear OS 6 (with the OxygenOS Watch 8 interface on it), the most up-to-date software in the smartwatch market, knows no limits in health and sports tracking either. The watch, offering more than 100 sports modes, 6 of which are automatically recognized, features a full squad of heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), wrist temperature, accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, and air pressure sensors. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, multi-GPS support, and contactless payment with NFC via Google Wallet are also included.

The battery life of the device also uses the advantages of the dual-processor structure to the fullest. The battery inside, with a capacity of 646 mAh, reaches full charge from zero in approximately 75 minutes with a 7.5W charging speed. According to OnePlus’s claims, the watch promises up to 5 days of uninterrupted use in “Smart Mode” and up to 16 days in “Power Saving” mode.
